This policy explains what personal data Lunowisky collects through this website and how it is used. Lunowisky is run by Ray Castro, a software engineer based in Liverpool, United Kingdom. If you have any questions, email hello@lunowisky.com.
What I collect
Messages you send me. If you contact me by email or WhatsApp, I receive your name, contact details and whatever you tell me about your project.
Anonymous visit statistics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
Technical logs. Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) briefly processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.
How I use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if we work together, deliver and support your project.
To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so I can improve it.
I never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR, I process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to you) and, if you become a client, to take steps towards and perform a contract.
Who else processes it
Vercel (website hosting and analytics), my email provider, and WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to message me there. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the project needs and for up to 6 years afterwards, to meet UK tax and accounting requirements.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used, by emailing hello@lunowisky.com. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
